ABOUT THE FILM: The daughter of Amazing Grace steps out of her mother’s shadow to become the newest superhero on the streets, called Lucky Streak. ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: Kurt Donath has been a South Florida resident since 1995. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, but raised in Los Angeles, California. Kurt made his stage debut as a ten-year-old child actor in the stage production of MacBeth at the Lee Strassberg Actors Studio in Hollywood, CA. About the same time, he started writing screenplays. At age 19 he met his mentor, George Clayton Johnson. Mr. Clayton Johnson is a revered science fiction writer having penned screenplays for the original Twilight Zone and classic films such as Logan's Run. Kurt studied with him for two years before moving to South Florida with his family. Kurt enrolled at the International Fine Arts College (now re-named Miami University of Art and Design) and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film in 2002. He started his own film production company, Aberdeen Soldier in 2003. He has done two short subject films and three features since. Source: luckystreakthemovie.com
